We're partnering with a global manufacturer to recruit an experienced Project Engineer to join their high-performing Engineering team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting directly to the CAPEX Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering equipment and process improvement projects that enhance manufacturing capability, efficiency and safety.This is an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of capital projects within a highly automated manufacturing setting while working alongside operations, maintenance, quality and engineering teams.What's on Offer$120,000 - $150,000 + 12% Super12-month Fixed Term ContractReport directly to the CAPEX ManagerFree onsite parkingFree onsite gymJoin a collaborative engineering teamOpportunity to deliver meaningful manufacturing and automation projectsAbout the RoleYou'll be responsible for delivering small to medium-sized CAPEX projects from concept through to commissioning, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.Your responsibilities will include:Managing multiple CAPEX projects simultaneouslyDeveloping project scopes, budgets,



schedules and resource plansCoordinating internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliersSupporting equipment installation, commissioning and validation activitiesDriving process improvements and automation initiativesPreparing engineering documentation, specifications and project reportsMonitoring project costs, risks and timelinesEnsuring compliance with cGMP, quality standards and site engineering requirementsProviding technical support to manufacturing and operational teamsAbout YouTo be successful, you'll ideally bring:Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Chemical EngineeringDemonstrated experience delivering CAPEX projects within manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, food & beverage or similar regulated environmentsStrong project management experience including budgeting, scheduling and contractor managementExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityAbility to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentKnowledge of cGMP, GMP, ISO or regulated manufacturing environments will be highly regardedPrepared to complete a Pre Employment Medical (including Drug and Alcohol testing).
