Roman Drilling is looking for Driller's Offsider to help our experienced Driller with constructing water bores in Townsville and surrounding areas.Key RequirementsHR Drivers LicenceExtensive manual laboring experience and be physically fit to cope with the demands of the positionHard-working and reliable team playerAbility to follow detailed instructionsSome mechanical knowledge is beneficialPass a pre-employment medical and drug screenSatisfactory Police clearanceMust be Townsville based, this is not FIFO positionTasks & responsibilitiesTransport the drill rig and equipment, setting up, rigging down, moving, making the hole, placing and sealing casing, and grouting bores.Be able to organise, maintain, and manage equipment for each drill site.Load, drive, and unload heavy vehicles.Work as part of a small team.Add and remove drill rods and other downhole tools.Assist with routine maintenance.Other duties as required.
