As a Tractor Mower Operator, you'll help maintain and enhance Council's open spaces, creating protected, high-quality environments the community can enjoy year-round.
This is a hands‐on role generally operating from 6:30am to 2:45pm, where you'll work across a variety of sites, often independently, while staying connected with a supportive team.What You'll Be DoingOperate tractors, plant and park maintenance equipment safely and efficientlyCarry out mowing, turf care and seasonal parks maintenance activitiesUse and change implements,



including three-point linkage attachmentsMaintain equipment and identify safety or environmental hazardsManage your own work areas while collaborating with the wider teamDeliver friendly, professional service when interacting with the publicAbout youYou're a skilled and reliable operator who takes pride in your work and enjoys working outdoors.
With experience in tractor mowing, you're confident working independently, managing your time, and delivering quality results.
You have a strong safety mindset and communicate well with team members and the community.
You take a respectful, approachable attitude when interacting with the public and consistently live Council's values in everything you do.
Physically capable and hands‐on, you're comfortable with repetitive manual tasks and bring solid numeracy and literacy skills to support your day‐to‐day work.
