Market-competitive salary opportunityOngoing training and professional developmentSafe and supportive work environmentRegional area diversityCareer growth opportunitiesKey ResponsibilitiesNegotiating and maintaining the trading agreement with the Wholesaler, and liaising with suppliers to secure timely delivery and maintain stock levels that meet consumer demand and customer expectations.Monitoring sales data and stock levels through point-of-sale scanning and inventory systems, tracking purchasing trends to minimise waste and anticipate stock-outs or overstocking.Studying local trade and market conditions to inform competitive, day-to-day purchasing and stock decisions.Designing and implementing pricing for non-promoted stock in compliance with the Promotional Programme, and executing in-store display and merchandising strategies for promoted lines to engage customers and build brand awareness.Negotiating and maintaining working relationships with the Wholesaler and suppliers, engaging on purchasing and supply matters in the interest of the store.Using inventory management, point-of-sale,



and bookkeeping systems to maintain accurate purchasing records and sales reporting.Establishing stock replenishment plans aligned with seasonal fluctuations and consumer demand, and supporting sales performance reviews through store-level purchasing reports.Anticipating consumer trends and determining the quantity, style and range of groceries and products purchased, tailored to the local customer base and the store's target market.Identifying stock discrepancies and purchasing-related issues, liaising with field representatives during reviews, and adjusting purchasing decisions to prevent recurrence.Liaising with suppliers, the Wholesaler, and management on purchasing performance and compliance with the Promotional Programme and reporting requirementsMinimum Qualification & Requirement(s)Minimum relevant tertiary educationMinimum 1 year(s)of experience in the relevant educationStrong experience with retail shop duties.Hands-on experience in retail industryExcellent analytical, problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.About CompanyFoodWorks St Clair is an independently operated supermarket, trading under the FoodWorks banner, located at Shop 13 & 14 Melville Road, St Clair, NSW ****.
