Rivergate Marina and Shipyard – Murarrie QLD
Rivergate Marina and Shipyard is seeking a creative, Content Creator to help capture and share the day-to‐day activity, people, and projects that make our marina and shipyard unique.
This role is for two days a week - ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through visual and written content and is comfortable working in an industrial/marine environment.
You'll be responsible for creating engaging, on‐brand content for our digital platforms, helping showcase our facilities, vessels, trades, and team in an authentic and compelling way.
Key Responsibilities
Capture high-quality photos and short-form videos around the marina and shipyard
Create engaging content for social media (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
Including video editing, captions, and content scheduling
Highlight vessels, maintenance projects, behind-the-scenes activity, and staff stories
Assist in day-to-day management of all digital media
Work with the team to align content with upcoming projects, events, or promotions
Maintain a consistent visual style and brand voice
About You
Experience or enthusiasm in creating engaging content and stories for social media




Confident using a smartphone and/or camera for photos and video
Basic editing skills (e.g. Adobe, Canva, or similar tools)
Creative, self‐motivated, and able to work independently
Comfortable working outdoors and around boats, machinery, and marine trades
Solid communication skills and attention to detail
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience in marine, industrial, or trades-based environments
Knowledge of social media trends and best practices
Drone experience (licensed)
