We pride ourselves on our professional approach to HSE management and our commitment to continuous improvement across all operations.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced HSE ISO Officer to join our team on a full-time basis in Mackay and onsite operations in outback Queensland.
This is a critical position within our organisation, responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our health, safety, and environmental management systems in accordance with ISO standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in protecting our workforce, assets, and environment whilst ensuring our operations remain compliant with industry standards.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organisational culture and operational excellence.Key responsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental management systems aligned with ISO standards and relevant legislationConduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsIdentify hazards and assess risks across operations, recommending and implementing appropriate control measuresInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses,



documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrenceProvide HSE training and induction programmes to all staff, ensuring competency and awareness across the organisationManage HSE documentation, records, and reporting systems to maintain accurate and accessible compliance evidenceLiaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders regarding HSE matters and compliance certificationsMonitor and analyse HSE performance metrics, developing strategies for continuous improvementSupport the development and review of HSE policies and procedures to reflect best practices and regulatory changesCollaborate with operational teams to embed HSE culture and promote proactive safety behavioursWhat we're looking forDiploma or degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related disciplineCurrent ISO ***** (or equivalent OH&S; management system) certification or demonstrated competencyCurrent ISO ***** (Environmental Management Systems) certification or equivalent knowledgeCurrent ISO **** (Quality Management System) certification or equivalent knowledgeMinimum 3-5 years' skilled HSE experience, preferably within the drilling, mining, resources,
