Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain key manufacturing equipment and provide technical assistance within the Maintenance and Production environments.
This role will be responsible for the support of machinery breakdowns and planned maintenance activities, as well as working with operations and other key stakeholders to improve equipment reliability within the plant.Job responsibilitiesExecute planned maintenance schedulesRequired to work on shift rotation.Demonstrated ability to identify root cause of equipment issues using fault finding and problem-solving techniquesLine set-up and maintenance activitiesEquipment shutdown maintenanceParticipate in maintenance and equipment improvement activitiesThe successful candidate should haveTrade certifiedBe confined space and working at heights trained or willing & able to work at heights and in confined spaces when requiredKnowledge of HACCP & GMPDemonstrated ability to show initiative, be well organised, self-motivated, and self-reliantPossess high work standards and the ability to work with minimal supervisionDisplay a professional approach to the Continuous Improvement ProcessGenuine team playerExperience in a high speed, continuous operating manufacturing environment is preferredExperience with Prometheus, or similar CMMS application, and TPM would be an advantageIt is essential that applicants are eligible to work permanently in Australia.
