About The RoleBased in our Banksmeadow office, you'll play a crucial role in our office team of 5, ensuring our high-end residential projects are accurately priced.Oversee and lead our estimating function, manage our current estimator and collaborate closely with the team to deliver precise, timely quotes that help secure new business and ensure smooth project handovers.You'll be responsible for estimating costs of formwork, concrete placing and finishing and steel fixing services, from architectural and structural designs.
Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for quality and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead our estimating function across all residential projectsPrepare accurate & detailed cost estimates for formwork, concrete placing & steel fixingUse take-off & estimation software to quantify materials & labourReview architectural & structural drawings to determine scopeDevelop budgets aligned with client needs & business goalsManage & oversee the quoting processCollaborate with project managers & builders for accurate scope definitionMaintain and develop strong relationships with all stakeholdersIdentify risks & propose mitigation strategies for pricing & deliveryTrack market trends, material costs & labour rates to ensure competitive pricingSupport process improvement across estimating & pre-constructionRepresent the company professionally with all stakeholdersRequirementsWhat are we looking forProven experience specifically in formwork estimation and take-offs is essentialProficient in take-off software, estimation software and Microsoft OfficeExperience using Procore is highly advantageousStrong understanding of construction processes,
