The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the day to day running of our transport operations.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery across our fleet and driver team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily fleet operations, scheduling, and dispatch
Lead, supervise, and support drivers and operational staff
Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and safety standards
Optimise routes and resource allocation to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Handle customer enquiries, and service issues professionally
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Track performance metrics and prepare operational reports
Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
About You
Proven experience in an operations management role (transport/logistics industry preferred)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Sound knowledge of transport compliance and safety regulations in Queensland
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in scheduling and fleet management systems
Current driver's licence (HR/MR licence well regarded but not essential)
