About the Role
This role is ideally suited to someone with a solid operational or technical background in underground drill and blast, who is looking to transition into or further develop a career in technical sales and business development.
You will play a key role in supporting existing underground customers while identifying new business opportunities across the Australian mining market.
The role can be based from Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne or Adelaide, with regular travel to customer sites nationally.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with underground mining customers across Australia




Provide technical support and product guidance to underground operations
Identify and secure new business opportunities within underground mining and tunnelling sectors
Expand product penetration within existing customer accounts
Conduct regular site visits and maintain strong customer engagement
Gather field intelligence and provide feedback to internal product and R&D; teams
Support customers with practical drill and blast solutions
Maintain accurate reporting on sales activity, opportunities and market insights
Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
Strong experience in underground mining drill and blast operations
A practical understanding of underground blasting practices and products
Previous experience in mining operations, technical support, explosives, consumables or mining services
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities
A self-motivated and proactive approach
Current Australian driver's licence
Full Australian working rights
Previous experience in sales or business development will be highly regarded, however operational underground mining experience is considered equally valuable.
