The position exists to provide active in-field leadership, indicative of company values, that supports the supervisor and extended leadership team to deliver against mining and operational targets.
Furthermore, to safely, productively and cost efficiently contribute to the success of the Australian business.Conduct inspections and audits of load and haul activities to comply with safety management policies.Assist Mine Supervisor to identify and analyse load and haul equipment utilisation to maximise mining efficiencies to meet budget/forecast.Assist Mine Supervisor in daily reconciliation of load and haul data for reporting purposesEngage in project work to optimize mining efficiencies on an as needs basisEnsure adequate set up of work areas for current and oncoming crewsAssist the Mining Supervisor to set priorities and duties in order to execute daily and weekly plan and to meet budget/forecastConduct machinery pre-starts on your allocated machinery to identify any faults or hazards on the machineIdentify manning requirements through the labour budgeting process, participate in interviewing and selection processes to build capacity in your teamManage the performance of direct reports through the setting of key performance indicators (KPIs), training and development opportunities, succession plans and appropriate performance managementMaintain a safe system of work through the following actions:Supervision and training requirements to be fulfilled for the team to ensure that all subordinates are competent to complete tasks safely and to understand the expectations of the task at hand.Risk Management and Emergency Procedures – conduct and monitor team risk management activities including Take 5's, JHA's,



Safe Observation Acts and any other formal risk assessment tools in order mitigate inherent risks in the workplace.Workplace Inspections to maintain highest level of all health and safety of the team by identifying and addressing safety concerns as the arise.Change Management – engaging all team members about changes to the workplace that may impact team safety.Record Management and Reporting – to ensure all hazards are captured for communication, managed appropriately and rectified if possible.Delegate supervision responsibilities to a competent person to maintain duty of care is fulfilled in your absence.Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by your manager in line with your skills, experience and competency level.Culture:Demonstrate and promote the Golden Rules and Company Values of Dedication, Teamwork, Simplicity, Innovation, and Excellence to foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.Adhere to the ConsMin Code of Conduct and act with integrity and professionalism at all times.Maintain effective relationships and communication with stakeholders, including contractors, commercial partners,
