A leading Federal Government organisation is seeking to engage an experienced Backend Developer to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions across large-scale enterprise systems.
The successful Backend Developer will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining robust backend services within a modern, agile delivery environment.
The successful Backend Developer will secure an initial 12-month contract with extension options, based across multiple locations with hybrid working arrangements.
The successful BackendDeveloper will be responsible for, but not limited to;
Designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs
Writing high-quality, maintainable code and supporting ongoing system improvements
Performing analysis, development,



testing and deployment activities
Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable solutions
The successful BackendDeveloper will have experience in the following:
Strong experience with backend languages such as Java, Python, Ruby or Node.js
Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures
Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB or DB2
Understanding of Agile, DevOps, SecDevOps and CI/CD practices
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex ICT environments
