We are currently partnering with a growing organisation seeking an External Sales Engineer to drive business growth across the QLD market.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with a technical or engineering background who is passionate about building relationships and transitioning further into a sales-focused role.
The position focuses on a portfolio of sensors and instrumentation solutions, supporting customers across industries such as Mining, Defence, Water, Rail, Energy, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Universities, Research and Process Industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow existing major client accounts
Identify and develop current business opportunities across target sectors




Strengthen brand presence and raise the profile of the business within the QLD market
Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including hands-on assistance where required
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through a consultative sales approach
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Background or prior experience in Engineering, sales and solution selling
Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management
Exposure to university, research, defence, food & beverage, mining, or energy sectors
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with a curious mindset and ability to work autonomously
