Oaky Creek Coal is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineering Coordinator to join our Engineering and Maintenance team.
Reporting to the Technology Superintendent, this role is responsible for coordinating, managing and overseeing electrical, automation and process control maintenance activities across a wide range of underground and surface assets that support our mining operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving electrical equipment reliability and advancing automation technology at one of Australia's leading low-seam underground coal mining operations.About the RoleAs the Electrical Engineering Coordinator, you will lead a team of Process Control and Automation Engineers whilst also providing technical leadership across electrical, control, and automation systems.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that the safety, performance, and reliability of critical electrical infrastructure and operational systems are maintained to the highest level across the site.
Partnering with site operational teams, OEMs, and key internal/external stakeholders, the role leads and supports commissioning and asset handover activities,



champions continuous improvement opportunities, and delivers specialist technical support for planned and emergent maintenance events across electrical, process control, and automation systems.
A key focus here will be on enhancing electrical equipment reliability, minimising downtime, reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) times, and optimising asset performance through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis leading to quality actions to prevent reoccurrence.
