As the site ramps up, this role presents strong career growth and long‐term stability within a highly reputable business.The OpportunityContract role or Permanent roleLarge-scale industrial environmentsWork alongside an established operationLong-term team build with genuine progression opportunitiesRoster & Conditions12.5-hour rotating shifts (days & nights)4 on 4 offSite operates on public holidays (penalty rates apply)Overtime rates paid for weekend or additional shifts and shift loadingsKey ResponsibilitiesMechanical maintenance and fault finding on industrial plant and equipmentPreventative and corrective maintenanceSupporting commissioning and ramp-up of new equipmentEnsuring safe operation in a high-risk, safety-critical environmentWorking collaboratively within a shift-based maintenance teamAbout You / RequirementsTrade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent)Certificate III Mechanical Fitting qualification can be obtained during employmentExperience in industrial or manufacturing environmentsMinimum experience required in industrial or manufacturing environments is less than 1 yearStrong fault-finding and breakdown maintenance skillsBasic exposure to breakdown maintenance experience is requiredComfortable working rotating day and night shiftsSolid understanding of isolations, lock-out/tag-out and safe work practicesAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematicsFull Australian work rights requiredExperience with conveyors, rotating equipment, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics will be highly regarded.
