Position Details
Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Part Time permanent basis.
You can work from just a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts a week and have work-life balance.
Shifts Available
Afternoon shifts: Combinations of shifts between Monday-Friday including Weekends – 2.00PM-*****PM
Night Duties: Combinations of shifts between Monday-Friday including Weekends – *****PM - 6.00AM
As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide daily living support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.
Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will
Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
Support residents' emotional and social needs
Maintain accurate care documentation
Collaborate with the clinical and lifestyle teams to enhance resident experiences
What We're Looking For
Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
A current National Police Check




A caring and respectful approach towards residents
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive and enthusiastic attitude
Empathy with elderly residents and their families
Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded although not essential
Experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility highly regarded
