Generator Constructions Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sheet Metal Tradesman / Welder to join our team in Rocklea, Queensland.
We have 2 Permanent or Casual positions offering a market-competitive salary and overtime.
As a Sheet Metal Tradesman / Welder, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality industrial soundproof generator enclosures and related equipment.What you'll be doingFabricate custom sheet metal components and productsOperate a variety of welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders.Measure, cut, bend, and form sheet metal parts using Pan-brake and Press.Assemble and install completed sheet metal components and products.Comply with all relevant health, safety, and quality control standardsWhat we're looking forFormal trade qualification in sheet metal fabrication or weldingHands‐on experience in a similar role, preferably in the trades or manufacturing industryMinimum of 3-5 years of sheet metal fabrication or welding experience is requiredProficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematicsSkilled in the use of various welding techniques, hand tools,
and power toolsCandidates must be proficient in both MIG and TIG welding techniquesStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and problem‐solving skillsWe do not offer sponsorship to any applicant.
