We are looking for an experienced Welding Supervisor to join the Allweld Team.Allweld Manufacturing Pty Ltd have been in business for over 20 years, building customised fabrication solutions and innovations for renowned Government Bodies, Major Businesses and General Clientele who appreciate high quality yet competitively priced workmanship in a timely manner.This role requires the capability and experience to perform the following:Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily welding operations.Train and support welding team membersInspect welding work for quality.Ensure a protected work environment.Manage the Qualification of Weld procedures and OperatorsCoordinate Inspection and Test activities to support Weld Procedure and Operator qualificationCoordinate NDT requirements in production to meet scheduleSupport the training and up skilling of weld operatorsConduct audits on the Welding activities to ensure facility complies with the Weld Management System requirementsEnsure the implementation,
maintenance and continuous improvement of the Weld Management System.Achieve and maintain welding performance KPI's to support Production delivery.Manage weld traceability for all jobs where requiredCompilation and review of MDR's & Quality DocumentationProvide technical advice and assistance to the workshop teamPreparation and implementation of project quality management systemsQualifications:IWS – International Welding Specialist or equivalent.Level 2 Mag ParticleWelding Supervisor CertificateIAW AS ****, AS ****Cert 10Experience in welding supervision.Knowledge of welding techniques.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to read, interpret, understand and implement the requirements of the relevant Weld/Fabrication/Manufacturing standards and codes.Knowledge of NDT and Destructive testing methods and their application to weld testing.Experience:Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with Robotic Resistance and Mig Welding systems an advantage.Experience implementing improvements in Welding standardsMIG/TIG/ARC welding experienceAustralian residency & visa for Australian work purposes is required.No Visa sponsorship is available.Position is onsite only.Looking to start straight away as casual with 6 months probation before full time.
