About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team at RSM Geraldton.
In this role, you will perform a broad range of bookkeeping responsibilities, including reviewing, organising and processing client financial information sourced from various systems.
You will work closely with accountants and clients, playing a key role in delivering high‐quality outcomes and exceptional client service.Key ResponsibilitiesAssists with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.Applies knowledge of client/firm/industry trends and current issues.Assist accountant in preparing client BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, LSL Levy and other ongoing tax compliance requirements.Prepare reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable,



accounts payable.Assist with client relationship management.Handle client bookkeeping queries.About YouEssential 4+ years relevant experience.Relevant qualifications.Xero and MYOB Account Right experience essential.Payroll experience.Sound accounting skills (Dr's & Cr's; P&L; & Balance Sheet differences).
Basic GST knowledge.Ability to identify & communicate process improvements.Robust organisational skills.Excellent customer service skills.Self‐motivated (ability to work independently).
