Clinical Nurse | BlueCare | Yeppoon Capricorn Aged Care FacilityEmployment Term: Part timeLocation: Yeppoon Capricorn Aged Care FacilityRemuneration: $***** – $***** per hour + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & AllowancesYour part in our BlueCare teamThe Clinical Nurse provides expert clinical leadership, guidance and support to care staff to ensure safe, high‐quality, resident‐centred care.
The role plays a key part in complex clinical decision‐making, care planning, funding optimisation and continuous quality improvement, while ensuring care aligns with organisational values, best practice and accreditation standards.In this role, you will:Provide expert clinical leadership and advice in the management of complex resident care needsContribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of resident care plans to promote health, wellbeing and quality of lifeComplete comprehensive and accurate clinical assessments and documentationSupport staff orientation, mentoring, clinical supervision and ongoing professional developmentPromote a consultative and collaborative approach to resident care planning and quality activitiesAssist in ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, legislation and clinical governance requirementsSupport accurate and timely ACFI assessments to ensure optimal funding outcomesCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, residents, families and external stakeholdersParticipate in continuous quality improvement, risk management and workplace health and safety activitiesWhat makes a difference for us?
Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA (Essential)Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification (Essential)Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Registered (Essential)Extensive general nursing experience with robust clinical skillsDemonstrated experience and knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)Understanding of person‐centred, resident‐based care deliveryStrong interpersonal,
