The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney's western suburbs, providing world‐class clinical facilities, services, and care.An exciting opportunity is available for Registered Nurses to work within our Maternity Ward in a Full time or Part time role on a 2-year Temporary contract with a plan to become a Registered Midwife and join the MidStart program.Working alongside experienced Midwives and a Multidisciplinary team, you will gain valueable Maternity experience whilst being supported to pursue your career in Midwifery.

For more information, please click here Child Safe StandardsWhat you will bring to the roleCurrent registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
Demonstrated capacity to provide effective Nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workDemonstrated effective communications written and verbal skillsDemonstrated commitment to professional developmentAbility to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week.Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
