The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation ('BCF') is a registered charity committed to supporting people experiencing homelessness, poverty and disadvantage.Our mission is simple and guides everything we do: "The person in front of us."We deliver practical, human-centred support through food services, social welfare, health programs and education across multiple sites including Ashfield, Blacktown, Seven Hills and Summer Hill.Behind the scenes, our Facilities team plays a critical role in ensuring our environments are safe, functional and welcoming for both our community and our staff.THE ROLEThis is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting the coordination and delivery of facilities operations across multiple BCF sites.As our Facilities Coordinator, you will work closely with the Facilities Team Leader to ensure our sites are safe, compliant, functional and well-presented.
You'll play a key role across maintenance, logistics, projects, events and volunteer coordination, helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.No two days look the same in this role.
You'll be on the ground, problem solving, coordinating works and supporting the broader organisation to deliver critical services to the community.This is a full-time role (38 hours per week).
Flexibility is essential, as the role includes weekends, after-hours work and support for major projects and events.WHAT YOU'LL DOIn this role, you will:Support day-to-day facilities operations across multiple sitesProvide administrative support including scheduling, record keeping and coordinating service requestsRespond to maintenance requests and coordinate timely resolutionUndertake general maintenance and handyman tasksAssist with site inspections and identify maintenance requirementsCoordinate contractors,



suppliers and service providersSupport delivery of facilities projects, upgrades and refurbishmentsAssist with logistics including deliveries, equipment and site movementSupport fleet upkeep and operational readinessAssist with event setup, pack down and site readinessCoordinate furniture, equipment and layout requirements for eventsSupport and guide Facilities volunteers on siteMaintain accurate records, documentation and systemsSupport compliance with Work Health and Safety ('WHS') requirementsCarry out hands-on facilities support tasks to maintain safe, functional and well-presented sitesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORYou're a practical, proactive person who enjoys being hands-on and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly,You'll also bring:Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, carpentry, logistics or another hands-on rolePractical skills using hand and power tools and the ability to undertake general maintenance and handyman tasksThe ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environmentStrongorganisationaland time management skillsThe ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sitesConfidence communicating with contractors, suppliers, volunteers and colleaguesStrong problem-solving skills and a reliable, solutions-focused approachAlignment with BCF's mission and valuesFlexibility to support weekends,
