Total Fitouts North Brisbane is looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team.
Full-time, based in Chermside QLD ****, working on commercial fitout projects across North Brisbane - retail, hospitality, medical, office and more.
This is a hands‐on carpentry role with basic site management responsibilities.
For the right person, there's a clear pathway to leading hand and site management as our team grows.
What you'll be doing
Defits, strip-outs and make-safes
Wall framing and partitions (timber and steel stud), bulkheads and ceilings
Second-fix carpentry - doors, hardware, skirtings, architraves
Installing and fixing off custom joinery and shopfront elements
Reading and working from architectural drawings and specs
Site measures and quality checks against spec
Coordinating with other trades, our project manager and site supervisor to keep the program on track
Basic site management - deliveries, housekeeping, safety compliance
Maintaining a clean, protected site and following all WHS requirements
What we're looking for
Commercial fitout or shopfitting experience strongly preferred
White Card and current driver's licence, with reliable transport to sites




Own tools (tool allowance provided)
Confident reading drawings and working to spec unsupervised
Reliable, quality-driven, and able to run a small site when needed
Strong communicator who works well with other trades and clients on live sites
