Unyte is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Construction team and play a key role in the successful delivery of major civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of construction activities
Develop and monitor three-week look-ahead programs and project forecasts
Coordinate procurement of materials, plant, equipment and subcontractor requirements
Monitor productivity, project performance and cost control measures
Assist with variations, progress claims, forecasting and commercial reporting
Manage project documentation including RFIs, drawings, registers and reporting requirements
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders
Attend site meetings and provide project updates
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and HSEQ standards
Conduct safety walks, audits and support high-risk work planning
Manage quality assurance processes, inspections and testing documentation
About You




Motivated and driven Project Engineer with strong organisational and communication skills
Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects in a fast-paced construction environment
Commercial awareness and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
Committed to safety, quality and teamwork
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience delivering civil construction projects
Experience working on major infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and project delivery
Experience managing subcontractors, procurement and site coordination
Sound knowledge of quality assurance systems and construction documentation
Understanding of cost tracking, variations and project reporting
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Expert Estimation and Jobpac (preferred but not essential)
Current Australian Driver's Licence
