This role is essential to our day-to-day functioning and directly impacts patient satisfaction and clinic efficiency.What you'll be doingGreeting patients and visitors in a warm, professional and welcoming manner upon arrival at the clinicManaging patient check-in processes, including verifying personal details, insurance information and appointment detailsScheduling and confirming patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinician time and patient convenienceMaintaining accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with privacy legislation and clinic protocolsProcessing patient payments and managing billing enquiries with accuracy and professionalismAnswering and directing telephone calls and enquiries to the appropriate staff membersCoordinating with clinical staff to ensure patient flow and minimise wait timesMaintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception areaAssisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and document managementProviding general information about clinic services, procedures and practitioners to patients and enquirersWhat we're looking forPrevious experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a healthcare reception environment, or equivalent customer service experience in a qualified settingStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills,



with the ability to interact professionally with patients, visitors and staff members of all backgroundsProficiency with computer systems and medical practice management software, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software applicationsAccuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record management, with understanding of confidentiality requirementsKnowledge of privacy legislation, particularly the Privacy Act **** (Cth) and health privacy principles applicable in AustraliaA calm, empathetic approach to patient interactions, particularly when managing difficult or distressed patientsFlexibility and willingness to support other team members as neededCurrent First Aid certification is preferred but not essentialMedical terminology knowledge is advantageousAbout usInfinity Imaging and Interventions Pty Ltd is a dedicated medical imaging and interventional procedures clinic committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
