We are currently recruiting for experienced Stonemason to join our team in Mackay QLD.
The successful applicant will need to possess and undertake:Replacing defective or missing stones on walls and structuresLaying stones according to construction plans or project specificationsHave a willingness to workBe punctual and responsibleStrong attention to detailAbility to read and interpret drawings to fine specificationsExperience in handling a range of materials, including difficult materialsConstruction and repair of stone and large masonry slabsCutting,
shaping and installing polished stones using machines and hand tools to high accuracySkills & Attributes:At least 3 years work experience in stonework and installationComplete a Certificate III in Stonemasonry (Monumental/Installation)Visualization: able to envisage and implement aesthetic patterns in the design and construction of stone structuresPhysical Strength: able to lift and work with heavy tools and building materialsPhysical Stamina: perform the rigorous work task of lifting and aligning blocks for extended periodsSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Application opens on 29th of July **** and closes on 29th of August ****
