As a Gantry Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of steel products throughout the manufacturing facility.
Working as part of a production team, you'll ensure materials are transported accurately to support daily operations while maintaining a solid commitment to safety and quality.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate gantry cranes to safely move steel products and materials.Load, unload, stack, and position steel for production and dispatch.Perform pre-start inspections and report equipment faults.Assist with manual handling and general warehouse duties as required.Follow production schedules and work efficiently to meet deadlines.Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview and undergo a drug and alcohol screen as part of the employment process.
