We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Pastry Chef to join our friendly team.
No previous experience is required – just a passion for creating quality pastries and desserts, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.Pastry Apprentice responsibilities (including but not limited to):Preparing and baking pastries, cakes, tarts, slices and dessertsAssisting with the preparation of doughs, batters, fillings,



creams and icingsDecorating pastries and cakes to a high standardMeasuring and mixing ingredients according to recipesEnsuring products are completed in time for daily serviceMaintaining a clean and organised pastry kitchenFollowing food safety and hygiene procedures at all timesRequirements:A genuine interest in pastry and dessert productionAbility to read and follow recipes accuratelyGood organisational and time management skillsWillingness to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as requiredAbility to safely use commercial kitchen equipment including mixers and ovensAttention to detail and pride in presentationCommitment to producing high-quality pastries and dessertsAbility to meet strict deadlines in a rapid-paced environmentReliable, enthusiastic and eager to learnMust be able to adhere to health and safety regulationsTo be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
