North Balgowlah Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a full-time or Part-time basis in North Balgowlah, NSW.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, assisting pharmacists, and delivering outstanding service to our community.
This position offers the chance to develop valuable experience in a healthcare setting and contribute to improving patient outcomes.Key responsibilitiesAssisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical productsManaging pharmacy stock, including receiving, checking, and organising inventory to ensure medicines are readily availableProcessing prescriptions and inputting patient information accurately into pharmacy management systemsMaintaining accurate records of dispensed medications and maintaining patient confidentiality at all timesProviding counter service to customers, offering advice on over-the-counter products under pharmacist supervisionHandling customer inquiries and complaints professionally and escalating to the pharmacist where necessaryCleaning and maintaining pharmacy equipment and work areas to ensure hygiene and safety standardsSupporting the implementation of health and safety procedures and participating in infection control practicesAssisting with stocktaking and inventory management to minimise waste and optimise costsHelping to maintain a welcoming and organised pharmacy environment for customersWhat we're looking forCompletion of a Pharmacy Assistant certification or qualification (such as Certificate III in Pharmacy or equivalent) or willingness to undertake trainingStrong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers,
