The GP hospital manages first-opinion cases and walk-in emergencies, while NSVSC handles complex referrals, and oncology cases in partnership with ONE Cancer Care, and after-hours care, ensuring patients receive the right expertise at the right time.

About the Role
As an Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Specialist, you will lead the management of complex emergency and critical patients while delivering gold-standard care in a fast-paced referral environment.
You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, ECC veterinarians, and highly experienced veterinary nurses to support patients across all disciplines.
This role is best suited to a board-certified or residency-trained ECC clinician with post-training clinical experience, offering opportunities to contribute to teaching, mentorship, and service development,

Requirements
We are looking for a recognised Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Specialist with diplomate or equivalent status (ACVECC / FANZCVS).
Residency-trained candidates will also be considered.
Recognised and/or accredited undergraduate veterinary degree approved by the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC).
If required, successful completion of the National Veterinary Examination (NAVLE).
