Helping Hands Support Services Ipswich is looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our friendly, client-focused team.
In this role, you'll empower older Australians and people living with disabilities to maintain independence and dignity in their daily lives.
What You'll Do
As a valued Support Worker, you'll provide hands-on care and genuine companionship that helps clients thrive.
Your day-to-day may include:
Supporting clients with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Assisting with transport to appointments, shopping, and community events
Offering emotional support and meaningful connection
Working alongside allied health professionals to meet client needs
Ensuring accurate, timely documentation
Following all safety and care protocols
What We're Looking For
We're after someone who's caring, committed, and ready to make a difference.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
At least 6 months' experience in a similar support or care role




A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability Support, or equivalent
Excellent communication and people skills
Empathy, patience, and a client-first mindset
A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
An open driver's licence is required for this position
Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Legal authorisation to work in Australia
Current Police Check and Working with Children Check must be held prior to commencement
