As our Change Adoption Lead, you'll help shape how change shows up across the organisation, from early visibility through to sustained adoption, ensuring our people are set up to succeed as we evolve towards our Strategic Ambition.
Working within the Transformation and Change Office, you'll combine enterprise thinking with hands‐on delivery, designing and embedding approaches that build confidence, capability and lasting behaviour change.In this role, you will:Partner with leaders to embed change early, building strong readiness and setting teams up for successful adoptionLead the change adoption design and delivery across BAU and project environmentsChampion and evolve Unitywater's change adoption framework to create consistent, positive experiences of changeDrive sustained adoption of new ways of working, ensuring benefits are realised and embedded over the long termAbout you:Our One Unitywater behaviours – Create the Future, Care Together, and Own It – define how we work together at Unitywater.We're looking for a Change Adoption Lead who brings both strategic thinking and practical delivery, someone who is credible with senior leaders just as much as team members, comfortable in ambiguity, and genuinely motivated to help others succeed through change.
To contribute to this, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:Must haveStrong experience in change management roles, including leading or contributing to enterprise-wide transformation initiativesProven ability to design and embed practical change frameworks, tools and capability uplift strategiesDeep understanding of recognised change methodologies (e.g. Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter) and the ability to tailor them pragmaticallyDemonstrated delivery experience across a range of initiatives (strategic and operational), with a strong focus on benefits realisationExceptional communication, facilitation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and partner effectively with leadersA balance of strategic thinking and hands‐on execution — you're just as comfortable shaping the approach as you are delivering itStrong planning and organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesExperience working in complex, multi-project environments with concurrent change impactsA proactive, outcome-focused mindset with strong commercial awarenessDemonstrated ability to work independently and remain resilient and adaptable in evolving or ambiguous environmentsHigh proficiency across the Microsoft Office suiteNice to haveExperience establishing or maturing change capability within a mid‐sized organisationFamiliarity with project/program delivery methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile) and tools such as Miro or Azure DevOpsExperience in utilities, infrastructure, government or similarly regulated environmentsExperience coaching leaders or building change capability in othersA cooperative,
