Headquartered within 20 km of Brisbane's CBD, the business is continuing to expand its commercial capability and is seeking a commercially minded Business Analyst to join the team.This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director/CEO and collaborate across technical, product, sales, and commercial teams to support strategic growth initiatives, market expansion, and business planning.About the RoleAs Business Analyst, you will deliver market research, commercial insights, and strategic analysis to support executive decision-making across multiple business units.You will play a key role in market and customer analysis, forecasting, business planning, and strategic project support within a fast-paced and innovative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct market sizing, forecasting, and commercial analysis to support strategic planning and budgetingMonitor macroeconomic trends, industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activityAnalyse customer data to support segmentation, profiling,



and value proposition developmentAssess customer behaviour, feedback, and purchasing trends to support product and marketing strategiesSupport strategic partnership and investment initiatives, including research and stakeholder engagementPrepare reports, presentations, and insights for senior leadership and executive stakeholdersContribute to cross-functional projects supporting business growth and commercial objectivesSkills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Science, Commerce, Business, or a related disciplineMBA completed or currently in progress (minimum 4 units completed)Demonstrated post-graduate professional experience in an analytical or commercial roleExperience within battery technologies, life sciences, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy, or related industries highly regardedAdvanced Excel skills with exposure to Power BI, Python, R, or similar analytical toolsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex information clearlyStrong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a energetic and fast-paced environment
