while also liaising with external partners to ensure best-in-class workplace safety and wellbeing outcomes.This is a targeted Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander role.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation and monitoring of WHS and injury management frameworksEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and internal standardsConduct investigations into incidents and support implementation of corrective actionsManage early intervention, injury management and return-to-work processesDeliver psychosocial risk assessments and coordinate controlsProvide regular WHS reporting, analysis and governance updatesCoordinate internal audits and continuous improvement initiativesDevelop and deliver WHS training and communications across the organisationMaintain WHS systems in collaboration with leadership and external providersRequirementsCurrent NSW Working with Children Check (Paid Worker)National Criminal Record CheckValid Australian Driver's Licence (minimum Provisional 2 or equivalent)Skills and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related fieldProven experience in WHS and injury management in a complex, multi-site organisationStrong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and compliance frameworksDemonstrated ability to lead investigations and implement preventative strategiesExperience delivering WHS training and building safety capability across teamsConfident communicator with the ability to influence across all levelsHighly organised, self-driven, and capable of working autonomouslyAbility to balance strategic oversight with hands-on implementation
