Home to 96 residents, Brownesholme offers a warm, homely workplace with private en-suite rooms, beautiful rural surrounds and a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional care.
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the General Manager – Residential Aged Care, you will provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across one of our residential aged care communities.
You'll lead an experienced multidisciplinary team, champion a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
This is an opportunity for an experienced aged care leader who enjoys building positive workplace cultures, developing people and leading services that genuinely make a difference.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Leading the overall operations of a residential aged care home to deliver exceptional resident outcomesProviding visible leadership to multidisciplinary teams including nursing, care, hospitality, administration and lifestyle servicesBuilding an engaged,
accountable and high-performing team culture through coaching, mentoring and leadershipEnsuring compliance with the Aged Care Act ****, Aged Care Quality Standards and all legislative requirementsDriving continuous improvement initiatives, quality systems, audits and accreditation readinessManaging operational budgets, occupancy targets, workforce planning and operational performanceOverseeing governance, risk management, incident management and workplace health and safetyPartnering with residents, families and stakeholders to deliver outstanding person-centred care and service experiencesWorking collaboratively with executive leaders and corporate teams to achieve strategic organisational objectives
About you:
You're an experienced and values-driven leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and creating positive outcomes for residents, families and employees alike.
You lead with authenticity, inspire high-performing teams and are committed to fostering a culture where people feel valued, respected and supported to thrive.
You'll bring a strong focus on quality, clinical governance and continuous improvement, along with the ability to build trusted relationships and lead with confidence through change.
Most importantly, you'll share Carinity's commitment to ensuring every resident is treated with dignity, compassion and respect.
To be successful, you will have:
Significant leadership experience managing a Residential Aged Care homeStrong knowledge of the Aged Care Act ****, Aged Care Quality Standards and contemporary aged care practiceDemonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering positive workplace cultureProven ability to manage budgets, occupancy, workforce planning and operational performanceExperience driving quality improvement, governance, accreditation and compliance outcomes.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with residents, families and stakeholder.Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration (preferred)
