We're continuing to invest in our Toowoomba site, with new equipment being installed as we grow.
As a result, we're looking for Maintenance Trades Assistants to join our team and help keep our operation running at its best.
The Prospect
This isn't your typical production maintenance role.
With ongoing expansion across the site, you'll be involved in a mix of maintenance, repairs, equipment installs, upgrades, relocations, and improvement projects.
One day you might be helping install a new conveyor, the next you'll be assisting with preventative maintenance or troubleshooting equipment issues.
If you're handy with tools, mechanically minded, and enjoy practical, hands-on work, we'd love to hear from you.
Whether you've worked as a Trades Assistant, Maintenance Assistant, Labourer, Farm Hand, Mechanic's Assistant, Workshop Hand, or in another hands-on role, we'll consider applicants with the right attitude and work ethic.
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting Fitters with maintenance and repair workHelping install, relocate,



and commission equipmentSupporting preventative maintenance activitiesPerforming basic mechanical repairs and maintenance tasksUsing hand and power tools safely and effectivelyConducting equipment inspections and reporting issuesKeeping work areas clean, organised, and safeSupporting improvement projects across the site
What We're Looking For
Mechanical aptitude and confidence using toolsPrevious experience in a hands-on roleA strong work ethic and reliable attendanceAbility to work safely in an industrial environmentWillingness to learn and take on new challengesGood problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
Highly Regarded
Manufacturing, maintenance, workshop, farming, or construction experienceWelding, fabrication, fitting, or mechanical experience
