The Role
Reporting to the Head of Engineering Manager, you will take ownership of the site's reliability strategy, working across Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Operations to improve asset performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and govern reliability strategies across a complex manufacturing site.
Lead FMECA, RCM, root cause analysis and defect elimination initiatives.
Own the site's reliability KPI framework, including MTBF, MTTR, availability and OEE.
Drive the transition from reactive to planned, preventative and predictive maintenance.
Optimise preventative maintenance strategies and SAP PM master data.
Analyse downtime, SCADA, PLC and maintenance data to identify chronic losses.
Lead condition monitoring and precision maintenance initiatives.
Provide reliability input into capital projects, commissioning and asset lifecycle decisions.
Work closely with planners,



supervisors and trades to ensure reliability improvements are embedded into execution.
Coach and develop engineering and maintenance teams to build a strong reliability culture.
Your Background
To be successful, you will possess:
8+ years' engineering, reliability or asset management experience within manufacturing.
Strong experience across reliability engineering, maintenance strategy and asset performance.
Proven experience with FMECA, RCM, RCA and preventative maintenance optimisation.
Experience analysing maintenance and operational data to drive measurable improvements.
Solid understanding of maintenance work management and asset lifecycle principles.
A hands-on, analytical and commercially minded approach to problem solving.
