Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) Brisbane Mon-Fri | Competitve Salary | Free parkingOur client is looking to hire an experienced perioperative leader ready to run their own unit at a busy, rapid-paced Brisbane day surgery.This is a genuine leadership position where your clinical credibility and management ability will be put to good use from day one.About the FacilityA well-established private day surgery in central Brisbane, running a high-volume theatre list across gastroenterology, gynaecology, plastics and urology.
The pace is real, the lists are full, and the site needs a leader who can run it end to end.The RoleThis is a Nurse Unit Manager position reporting directly to the Director Of Nursing.
You will be accountable for clinical standards, staffing and day-to-day theatre performance.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and managing the theatre nursing team across a range of surgical specialtiesBuilding and overseeing rosters to ensure the unit runs efficientlyDriving clinical standards, compliance and quality across the floorWorking closely with the DON on unit performance and operationsDeveloping and mentoring theatre staff.Scrubbing and scouting as required to support the listWhat You Will NeedCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseProven experience in a NUM, ANUM or senior perioperative leadership roleSolid scrub and scout experience across mixed specialties (gastro, gynae,
