You'll install, test, and commission pipework systems alongside a skilled team, working to the standards our Tier 1 clients expect.What You'll DoInstall, test, and commission mechanical services pipework, including chilled water, condenser water, and heating hot water systemsFabricate, cut, thread, and join steel and copper pipework to specificationInterpret mechanical services drawings and specifications accuratelyCarry out pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning in line with project and manufacturer requirementsEnsure all work complies with the NCC and relevant Australian Standards (e.g.



AS **** – Pressure Piping)Work collaboratively with other trades, subcontractors, and supervisors to meet project programmeMaintain accurate site records, ITPs, and compliance documentationFollow site-specific WHS requirements at all timesSkills & ExperienceTrade-qualified Mechanical (HVAC) Plumber with proven commercial and/or healthcare project experienceConfident working with steel and copper pipe systems and jointing methods (screwed, flanged, grooved, brazed)Sound understanding of mechanical services systems — chilled water, condenser water, heating hot water, and associated plantAbility to read and work from mechanical services drawings, specifications, and Australian StandardsReliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well within a multi-trade Tier 1 site teamStrong communication skills and ability to take direction from supervisors and project managementOwn hand toolsLicensing & Compliance (NSW) — RequiredCertificate III in Plumbing (Mechanical Services), or Certificate III in PlumbingCurrent NSW Mechanical Services Licence/Certificate, issued by NSW Fair Trading / Building Commission NSW under the Home Building Act ****Valid NSW driver's licenceGeneral Construction Induction Training (White Card)TIG and/or Arc welding — tickets and/or demonstrated experience are highly regarded but not requiredWorking at Heights and/or Confined Space ticketsEWP licenceMedical Gases licence or experience — an advantage given our broader service offering across Mechanical, Medical Gases, Hydraulics, and FireThis role suits a reliable, safety-focused tradesperson who takes pride in their work and thrives as part of a high-performing team delivering some of NSW's most significant commercial and healthcare projects.
