About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join the Our Medical Dental team.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting dentists and the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the clinic, while delivering a high standard of care and an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support your assigned dentist, including proactive chairside assisting throughout the day
Take ownership of the clinical room, ensuring it is fully prepared, stocked, and ready for all procedures
Maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and control to ensure patient and team safety
Provide a supportive, professional, and caring experience for patients at every interaction
Assist with the efficient processing, sterilisation, and barcode tracking of instruments
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations across the clinic
Support reception duties including appointment bookings, enquiries, billing, recalls, and follow-up calls
Assist with stock management, external lab coordination, and in-house lab work
Helping to manage stock levels, coordinating external lab work and assisting with in-house lab work.

Minimum 1+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant
Up-to-date vaccinations and serology appropriate for the role
Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred)
Experience with Dental4Windows (advantageous)
