Jacobs seeks an ICT Infrastructure Designer to contribute to complex projects within the Defence and Federal Government sectors. The position can be based in the Brisbane or Sydney office.

Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Develop ICT infrastructure designs across the full project lifecycle, from early master planning to detailed design documentation for construction.
/n
- Provide technical support throughout construction.
/n
- Translate user requirements into practical, implementable solutions in collaboration with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary design teams.
/n
- Coordinate designs with engineers, architects and other technical specialists to ensure alignment with Defence standards and project objectives.
/n
- Build robust relationships, communicate effectively, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications
/n
/n
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Information Technology or Telecommunications Engineering qualification, or 10+ years relevant telecommunications infrastructure design experience.
/n
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably working with clients in Defence, Government, major construction or infrastructure projects as a consultant.
/n
- Confident verbal communicator in client-facing environments, excellent written communication skills and the ability to engage successfully across broad and complex stakeholder groups.
/n
- CAD and or BIM experience preferred.
/n
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
