The Child, Adolescent and Youth Mental Service (CAYMHS) Team Coordinator is responsible for the day to day leadership, guidance and line management of the multi-disciplinary team that work within the CAYMHS. The CAYMHS provides acute assessment, assertive treatment, care coordination and health education for child, adolescent and youth (up to the age of 24 years) and their families/carers/partners and relevant stakeholders.
The role involves supervision of nursing and other health professionals, technical and support staff. The CAYMHS Team Coordinator will provide clinical interventions and expert clinical counsel to child, adolescent and youth consumers and their carers.

The Team Coordinator will have clinical and operational responsibility for the Eating Disorder Service, COPMI, School Link and Per-natal mental health Services.

- Recognised qualification in health discipline (social work, nursing, occupational therapy or psychology) together with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Nurses, and Health Professionals; and for clinical psychologists, a minimum two year accredited postgraduate degree in clinical psychology and Psychology Board of Australia endorsement in the area of clinical psychology.

This is a temporary leave relief position until 4 April 2027 with the possibility of extension.
