This position will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, supplier coordination, inventory control and material planning to support manufacturing operations, while contributing to continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Responsibilities

- Raise and manage purchase orders using SAP

- Monitor supplier performance, quotations and delivery schedules
/n
- Coordinate stock control, goods receipting and discrepancy investigations
/n
- Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure material availability
/n
- Build solid supplier relationships and contribute to process improvements
/n
- Develop broader procurement and logistics responsibilities over time
/n/n
Skills and Experience
/n
/n
- Previous purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment
/n
- Strong SAP experience, with SAP Business One experience highly regarded
/n
- Advanced Excel and data management skills
/n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with suppliers and internal stakeholders
/n
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and grow into a more senior role
/n
- Chinese language skills are advantageous but not essential
