About the role:

/n

In this role, you will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations while working alongside your team to ensure our facilities and grounds are well maintained, compliant, and secure.

/n

You'll bring both leadership and practical expertise, coordinating people, managing priorities, and completing maintenance tasks to a high standard.

/n

Every day will bring something different, from shaping hedges to fixing minor repairs, using your practical know‐how to ensure our sites run smoothly and look their best.

/n

In this role, you will:

/n

/n

- Supervise and support Maintenance Officers, workers, contractors, and volunteers

/n

- Provide guidance, training, and day-to-day leadership to the maintenance team

/n

- Plan, allocate, and monitor maintenance tasks to meet operational needs

/n

- Complete hands‐on maintenance and repair work using trade skills

/n

- Maintain buildings, equipment, and outdoor areas, including gardens and grounds

/n

- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed and documented

/n

- Manage contractor engagement and ensure work is completed to standard

/n

- Maintain accurate records using asset management systems

/n

- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements

/n/n

Our ideal candidate has:

/n

/n

- Proven experience leading or supervising a team

/n

- Current First Aid and CPR certificates

/n





- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements, or willingness to obtain certification within one month

/n

- Current driver's licence

/n

- Solid experience in a maintenance, handyman, or groundskeeping role

/n

- Experience working in the aged care or community services sector (desirable)

/n

- Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
