We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major airline on a 12-month contract. Working within a high-performing delivery team, you will play a key role in supporting the ongoing enhancement, stability, and integration of a business-critical platform that underpins operational and strategic initiatives.

This role will see you partnering closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to define requirements, improve processes, and deliver scalable solutions across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Act as the key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment on requirements and delivery outcomes.
- Define and manage integration requirements between internal platforms and external vendor systems.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews to understand current and future-state processes.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, and third-party vendors to deliver business outcomes.




- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation activities within an Agile delivery environment.
- Assist with test planning, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validation of delivered solutions.
- Ensure requirements are clearly understood and translated into actionable deliverables for delivery teams.

Requirements

- 10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, including experience operating at a Senior Business Analyst level.
- Proven experience working across complex enterprise environments and multiple business domains.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working on system integration initiatives and with third-party vendors.
- Aviation industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Contract Details

- 12-month contract
- ~$950 per day + GST
- Mascot location
- Hybrid working model - 3 days onsite per week
