We are seeking an experienced and passionate Residential Care Manager to lead our Mount Lawley home. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Clinical Care Manager, Care Manager or Residential Care Manager with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in clinical governance who is ready to take the next step in their career by managing a residential aged care facility.

You will be supported by an experienced Executive Team and Head Office functions, allowing you to focus on leading your team, developing your people and delivering exceptional care to our residents.
About the Role
As the Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the facility, ensuring excellence in resident care, clinical governance, operational performance and team engagement.
You will:
- Lead, mentor and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding resident outcomes.
- Foster a positive workplace culture built on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide strong clinical leadership and oversee clinical governance to ensure safe, evidence-based and person-centred care.
- Ensure compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation and organisational policies.
- Monitor and continuously improve clinical quality, risk management and resident outcomes.
- Successfully manage the day-to-day operations of the facility.
- Oversee staffing, rostering, employee performance, education and workforce development.
- Support and mentor department leaders to achieve operational and clinical excellence.
- Work collaboratively with residents, families and the broader care team to promote resident choice, dignity and quality of life.
- Assist in accreditation readiness and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements.
- Maintain a strong understanding of AN-ACC funding and assessment processes.
About You
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within residential aged care.
- A proven track record in clinical governance, quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and conflict resolution skills.
- Sound understanding of AN-ACC funding and assessment processes.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.
