Job Overview

SRG Global are seeking trade qualified Boilermakers to participate in an ‘Upskill to Rope Access’ program with subsidized training on offer. The training will be from the 3 August to the 7 August. If successful, you will become an IRATA Rope Access qualified trade technician and be offered long‑term and ongoing FIFO opportunities in the mining industry.

We have ongoing maintenance and shutdown works servicing tier 1 clients in various locations throughout the Pilbara and Port Hedland region. This role is open to WA based personnel only.

Requirements

- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Proficient in Oxy‑cutting, Arc air gauging, plasma cutting and the use of hand and power tools
- Confident with Mig & Stick Welding on various metal types
- Be sufficiently fit and comfortable working safely in confined spaces and/or at height following safe access procedures.
- Experience working in a heavy industrial environment
- Mining shutdown work experience is advantageous
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Working at Heights (completed within 2 years)
- Confined Spaces (completed within 2 years)
- Construction white card
- Current High Risk Work Licence
- Ability to meet site requirements




- Ability to pass site medical testing inclusive of a drug and alcohol screen
