About the Role

/n

Based from our Kalgoorlie workshop and reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be involved in a variety of electrical and instrumentation works across mining, industrial and construction environments.

/n

/n

- Electrical installation, maintenance, manufacturing and commissioning

/n

- Green/Brownfields project, installation and modification work

/n

- Instrumentation installation, calibration and maintenance

/n

- HV Switchyard installation, HV cabling and Switchgear termination

/n

- Fault finding and troubleshooting of power and control systems

/n

- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications

/n

- Completing work safely, efficiently and to a high standard

/n

- Maintaining compliance with statutory, client and company safety requirements

/n/n

About You

You are a reliable, proactive tradesperson with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality. You enjoy solving problems, work well independently and as part of a team, and take pride in delivering quality outcomes.

Candidates with experience in mining, heavy industrial or construction environments will be highly regarded.

/n

To be successful in this role you will have:

/n

/n

- WA Unrestricted Electrical License (or ability to obtain)

/n

- Current C Class Driver's License

/n

- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices

/n

- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)

/n

- Ability to pass pre-employment and client medicals, including drug and alcohol screening

/n/n

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

/n

/n

- Senior First Aid Certificate

/n

- White Card

/n

- Current Working at Heights qualification (within 2 years)

/n

- 3 years post-apprenticeship electrical experience in mining, heavy industrial or construction

/n

- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

/n

- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

/n

- Certificate IV in Instrumentation

/n

- PLC and control systems fault-finding experience

/n

- HV Switching qualification and HV installation experience

/n

- High Risk Work Licenses (EWP, Forklift and similar)

/n/n

This is a Kalgoorlie-based position and is not FIFO.

/n

Applicants should be currently based in the Goldfields region or be willing to relocate. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work and shift coverage required to meet operational requirements.
