The Role:

Due to continued growth, my client is seeking an Intermediate Production Estimator to join their experienced estimating team. Working alongside the Estimating Manager and Sales Estimators, you will play a key role in delivering accurate production estimates across a variety of residential projects, with an initial focus on an upcoming medium density townhouse development in Cowra. This role offers a mix of repetitive production estimating work alongside exposure to larger-scale residential projects, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further develop their estimating career.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing accurate production estimates for residential homes and medium density townhouse developments

- Producing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and construction orders

- Reviewing plans, specifications and engineering documentation

- Pricing residential and townhouse projects using Databuild

- Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations and confirm pricing

- Maintaining accurate estimating databases and price files





- Working closely with the Estimating Manager and broader estimating team

- Ensuring estimates are completed accurately and within required timeframes

- Assisting with continuous improvements to estimating systems and processes

About You:

You will be an experienced Production Estimator looking to join a collaborative team where you'll continue to develop your skills while contributing to exciting residential projects.

To be successful, you will possess:

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Production Estimator within residential home building

- Experience using Databuild estimating software

- Ability to interpret residential building plans and specifications

- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical ability

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

- Medium density estimating experience will be highly regarded but is not essential

- A positive attitude and genuine desire to contribute to a high-performing team
