We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to work at our Port Melbourne site. Working within the Operations function of the Corporate Office, you will be part of the multifunction team that will transform our Human Resources Operating Model.

You will provide project management support as the team re‐defines a new governance framework, change management and change control systems, implements new tools and processes, develops training programs, and establishes a surveillance and monitoring framework including KPIs.

Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Lead and direct all phases of assigned projects, managing project baselines and ensuring compliance with Boeing policy and procedures; Federal and State statutory requirements.

/n

- Develop the overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry.

/n

- Proactively manage risk, issues and opportunities.

/n

- Establish a "Help Needed" environment and implement processes to ensure a proactive resolution of unforeseen issues.

/n





- Contribute to improving project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.

/n

- Assist other team members during high‐tempo periods.

/n

- Assess impacts projects may have on people, processes and other active projects and incorporate a change management strategy to manage these.

/n

- Manage an average of three projects simultaneously, delivering a wide range of capabilities across diverse stakeholder groups.

/n

- Report and communicate progress to stakeholders at all levels.

/n/n

Qualifications

/n

/n

- A minimum of five years project‐management experience and demonstrated skills in managing projects to successful and timely completion.

/n

- Formal tertiary qualifications in a business or project management field (project‐management experience may be substituted for tertiary education at the rate of no less than one year of experience for one year of education).

/n

- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to effectively build and manage stakeholder relationships and exert influence at multiple organisational levels.

/n

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, effectively managing competing priorities and working to deadlines.

/n





- High‐level communication and negotiation skills that facilitate interaction between the project team and key stakeholders.

/n

- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of assessing and managing changes to overall program baselines.
